Price: it depends on how you use it
On the sticker price, Candy AI wins on every billing period. But the two apps count media differently:
- Candy AI: 100 tokens a month. At about 4 tokens an image, that is roughly 25 pictures, or about 30 minutes of voice calls.
- OurDream AI: 1,000 DreamCoins a month, which OurDream says covers about 20 minutes of voice calls or 10 videos. Extra packs of 1,000, 5,000 or 20,000 coins can be added at checkout.

Chat and character
Candy AI walks you through building her step by step (style, looks, personality, voice, relationship) and keeps the interface simple. It is the easier app for a first AI girlfriend.
OurDream AI has the same building blocks plus scenarios and group chats, which suits people who like stories and several characters. The trade-off is a busier interface.
Both allow adult chat on the paid plan after an age confirmation.
Images and video
This is where OurDream AI pulls ahead. Generation is its main feature, it is praised for keeping a character’s look consistent across pictures, and the bigger coin allowance means you can use it daily without topping up. Candy AI also does images, voice messages and short clips, but the token balance runs down quickly.
Memory
Both apps keep the main facts about you across sessions. We run the same five-fact memory check on day 1, 7 and 30 in both apps; results are added to each review after the 30-day check.
